Favorite Expressions of Love

I fucking love otters. That's awesome, Rayaan.
I used to go hiking at a place called Blue Hills near Boston with my family when I was a kid. They had an otter at the small zoo there. He was my favorite part of the whole thing and I really loved that place, so that is saying a lot. They are the most playful little animals I have ever seen. They beat smelly ferrets any day.
They're one of my favorite animals too.

I love watching them break shellfish on their bellies.
I love river otters too, not just sea otters, but god are they destructive little fucks if they're inside a house. I watched a video that I can't find at the moment of two of them just ripping through a house with incredible energy - worse than ferrets!
But so sweet!
To me, music is the language of love
I won't bother posting it because I'm sure we've all heard it ad nauseum, but "If I Didn't Have You" by Tim Minchin is one of the most realistically romantic songs I've heard. For your more 'traditional' love songs though, I can't go past these:
"No-one who decides that scientific evidence is not for him and that his own experience or the stories of others is the be all and end all of deciding what's true ever has the right to call people searching for reliable, repeatable evidence narrow-minded. That is hypocrisy of the most laughable kind." Derren Brown - Tricks of the Mind.

They're mating habits often consist of nearly drowning their partner and biting them. Sometimes they go too far and actually drown the other. Other otters have been known to stalk seal pups, rape and drown them (1). So YMMV with them. I remember doing ocean kayaking once and someone decided to short cut through a kelp patch and startled an otter. It harassed them for five minutes, ramming into the hull, baring it's teeth, and eventually left. Those fangs, meant for cracking shellfish, really are something. Often what we see and anthropomorphize obfuscates the alien nature of otter culture, which has some nice, by human standards, points and some really nasty ones. Then I guess there are some good things about them and bad things about them. Kind of like the "good, bad, and ugly."
I still like otters, though. They are cute and hilarious animals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmaJmpfQURU
There was a baby sea otter caught in a beach net once. I remember signaling from the beach to a dory 1/4th a mile away because my radio didn't work. They came, rescued the thing, and went off on their way.
Did you know that otters can scream? Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
I play rough and I bite too, Moros. Just sayin'.
