Last night Shell B taught me that London once got flooded with beer and people drowned in it.

Quote:Many people like Foster's (I have no idea what it's called over there), It's called Foster's here too,but bottled under licence overseas and is crap..The style is lager,as is most Australian beer. Very hot here in summer,so we like our beers light of body and served very cold. Most popular glass size is 10 ozs. Cans and bottles are about the same as in the US. Have never had American beer outside of America, and have only tried few brands, including a supermarket generic,in Seattle. Bloody hell! Drank mainly Pabst, Coors,(from Colorado I think) and Corona (Mexican) The best beer I had in North America was "Moosehead',in Vancouver.. RE: The atheistforums.org beer thread.

“You don't get to advertise all the good that your religion does without first scrupulously subtracting all the harm it does and considering seriously the question of whether some other religion, or no religion at all, does better. ”
― Daniel C. Dennett
If heaven has beer it will be James Squires Golden Ale.
Simply the best beer I have ever tasted. BTW is this a good place to insert the best beer ad ever made? Dammit I'll have to have another beer now If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
This thread needs more love.
I'm sitting in my favorite place to drink, the Green Dragon in Portland, Oregon. 55 beers on tap, the vast majority of which are from local / nano breweries you've probably never heard of, and none of the big industrial products are sold here at all. Beers range from the lightest pilsners to the strongest barleywine, with everything in between. The soda is homemade, burgers are buffalo or kobe beef, and the other pub fare is excellent. Despite all that, it' s unpretentious and reasonably priced. Several of the taps are dedicated to beers produced on-premises, and as I tap this post out on my phone, I'm watching a staff brewer make a batch of some unknown brew (pics to follow). What's your favorite place for beer consumption, and why? (March 30, 2012 at 9:15 pm)Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote: This thread needs more love. I agree. My favorite bar here in Lincoln, NE is called Jake's. Great selection on tap, and when the occasional douche comes in and orders a Bud Light, the bartender sighs heavily, rolls his eyes, and says "We'll see" in his most annoyed voice. He then resumes his duties for 5-10 minutes completely ignoring the Bud Light guy. If Bud Light guy sticks around and still wants his beer, bartender will then finally make quite a show of digging one out of the back of the bar somewhere, and then overcharge for it. I laugh my ass off every time RE: The atheistforums.org beer thread.

The best. Edit: Also, the only American beer with drinking is Sam Adams.
I like Budweiser and Coors.
