You didn't read the article at all did you..lol. Yes, at risk of imprisonment or death (maybe even more so for daring to enlist the help of foreigners). You identify them by pointing, I mean, you don't actually have to prove they're gay or anything, pointing will usually suffice..lol. Maybe some homosexuals don't want to be driven out of their homeland (that they love dearly), and would rather stay and put up some sort of resistance to their country becoming a backwards shithole (also known as "paradise" to you, on this specific issue).

Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, Uganda has always been a backwards shithole. And as for resistance, the NATO is always happy to bless other, backwards countries with some democracy for a change, so they should be happy to oblige the gays of Uganda. And I think that even if the bill goes through, nothing will happen. Homosexuality is already punishable by death in various other countries, with Saudi Arabia, a close US ally, amongst them.

Petitions had actually been effective many times in the past. Amnesty International does a lot of petition and letter writting just as an international pressure. Either way you do what you can, Nobody can run into a country and hoping you can liberate them. I sure as hell wish I could do it. You do what you can even if it is as little as a petition. You aren't the only one signing. The least it can do is to make it clear to the country's leader and to the international community that people do not agree with this policy because it is hateful,inhumane, and a violation of human rights.
