You have actually just described self hypnosis. I used it for years to handle tension headaches. I could also lower my hear rate.


Perhaps do some reading on hypnosis.

I understand that it can sound as though it's hypnosis, however, I get the same sensation during the day. I've had it a few times since I last posted. I do suggest that you try it for yourself and only then will you be in a position to judge whether it is hypnosis or not. I think it would be interesting to discuss with with someone who has actually done it. And it's not hard. You can get "up and running" very quickly if you do a bit reading. And why not? It's fun. I can't imagine anyone wanting to pass up an opportunity to do a simple experiment in order to see if it really is hypnosis or not. Are you willing to do it?
