Hmm, are you saying that belief without evidence often leads to horrific atrocities and mistakes.
Time for self-reflection perhaps?

They should have burned the corpse so that no taint of the corruption would remain.

Time for self-reflection perhaps? No ...if someone believes a pixie lives at the bottom of their garden I don't think it would lead to bloodshed.
Fear and paranoia is more likely to lead to horrific atriocities and mistakes. You can have crazy beliefs without being religious. And you can't blame the Iraqi people from being so rabid, they have been slaughtered and abused by the USA just because they have some oil. Invaded by Americans, it's enough to drive anyone mad.

Vikings can't be wrong. So, emos are *wrong*.

I agree! Except of course for the trendy bit, punishment should be dolled out for such criminal closet choices but as usual islam takes the cake.
I recommend a week of forced beethoven, some lavender and pinks and course in flower arranging...for the religious police i mean. The emos just need to know that tinitus is a real risk when your sole source of musical enjoyment is nails on a chalkboard...
This is the muslim world's version of the burqa ban...proof of their moral confusion.

That is so sad, not to mention disturbing. Being different always has to be wrong, right?
