Oh yes, I know. My good friends/neighbors are black, and I love them, I really do...

But they were over here a few days ago telling me about how their tax refund was all stolen (thousands of dollars). She cashed the check, took it into work, left it in her purse in the break room, and someone stole it. I asked them what they did, of course, hoping they had called the police, alerted the manager, etc. They said that they didn't bother because god would return their money to them.

They do believe in evolution, though. So, that's good.

I explained to her that what he meant by that is that the human species had evolved into being in Africa, and since humans are nothing more than apes, everyone is an African ape, not just her, and not just black people.

Good for your son! But just a small point, scientists do not believe humans evolved from apes but from ape-like creatures. we share a common ancestor with apes but did not evolve from them. See link below for more details:

We like to think we've evolved and advanced because we can build a computer, fly an airplane, travel underwater, we can write a sonnet, paint a painting, compose an opera. But you know something? We're barely out of the jungle on this planet. Barely out of the fucking jungle. What we are, is semi-civilized beasts, with baseball caps and automatic weapons.
