Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them. 
Here is another couple gems from just now:

I honestly dont agree with them taking it out. I mean coming from someone who is skeptical of a thiestic unvierse I dont understand the harm in saying it. It's more of a tradition, but some people are rediculous with their comments though like this one lady...

It really makes you wonder about some of the religious people doesn't it? They seem to think that because we don't believe in God, we're more likely to be killing other people. It makes you wonder how these people would act if they stopped believing in God.
This reminds me of that scene in family guy when Brian and Stewie crashed the pope's parade and embarrased him as they were passing through Italy to England and the Pope said that their blasphemy was so great that God would smite them. They looked up at the sky and when nothing happened, he replied "he's a-cooking something up."
Anyone ever notice how people who watch fox news always seem to think that mass murder is a viable option so quickly but when it comes to pooling their money to help sick people (via healthcare) then that's just taking things too far? Fucking delusional hippocrites.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...

Actually people are more likely to kill each other if they DO believe in God! It's something useless to argue over and push on others.
"God bless the U.S.A"... this line is not just annoying and antiquated with 'God bless', but also blantant propaganda for students to feel blind patriotism for a war mongering, resource guzzling American empire.
