Hi all, I've posted a couple of links to my blog already. Allow me to explain my position.

Reading around a lot of people are inexperience in the faith of Christianity. Or religion as a whole. I have deeply looked into the subject, and found that reasoning is more deep and complex then one can imagine, and this is dangerous because a lot of our arguments are actually very easy to answer.

In the face of a Christian on the warpath for spreading the good news, a lot of us have no leg to stand on. My blog is to equip an atheist with the correct views on the world biggest faith, because when you know all the correct, unbiased facts, it's much easier to bring something down. A lot of us think Christianity is a boot, when it's actually a fish. When one actually looks into these facts, one must come up with better arguments to remain in opposition! I hope you see my point. Thanks

I couldn't agree more. The raw facts stand on their own and it is precisely this that deconverted me. Simple statements or even questions can make the theist think hard about their faith.

For me it was the historical side of things to do with the manuscripts and Jesus himself that I just couldn't deny or refute.

THAT is annoyingly presumptuous claim to make. The arrogance does not inspire confidence. I wasn't aware there was any such thing as "correct views" of Christianity. There are many different views here, overall,it's like the proverbial blind men trying to describe an elephant with each touching a different part of the beast.


I'm afraid I'll need a lot more before I accept you as an authority ,on anything,such as say your credentials and a list of a few peer reviewed papers..


The New Testament is the mythology of the religion called Christianity.I have no problem with the New Testament per se. However,I think organised religion,with its dogma,clergy,abuse of trust and power, is arguably the biggest confidence trick ever perpetrated on the human race,a massive boil on the arse of humanity. THAT is MY view. I do NOT claim expert status,or claim my view is the 'correct ' one. I leave that to the smug certitude of the dogmatic and closed minded.

Personally I've never thought it was either of those things, but I agree it's an important distinction to learn if it's causing you problems. A boot and a fish are both useful articles in their own way but hardly interchangeable.
