What your beliefs are doesn't mean you can enforce them on others. As long as you mentioned the constitution, perhaps reading the first amendment might help you understand that a little better.

For the record, I'd be completely happy replacing the word marriage with the word civil union, so long as the same definition replies to both homosexual and heterosexual couples. Marriage under law is NOT a religious institution, it can't be due to the constitution. It's a social one as hovik said.

Where did you get I was a racist, I know it could not be from me, know why, guess what my race is, bro. You are the bigoted one. My attitude towards gays has to do with their chosen life style, as people I have nothing against them. I understand the first amendment well, and it never states that I can not exercise my Godly heart and mind in the way I see fit with in the law.

Homosexuals are not homosexual by choice. /facepalm

In the United States of America, we are a secular state. What that means is we have a separation of church and state. What that means is that your religion has no place in politics. Your "Godly mind and heart" are just bigotry hidden behind religion. Your religion disgusts me anyway.

Little girl you have no idea what life is about, anyone just out of high school can't see for the ignorance in front of their noses. Live a life and then come and talk to me. You may think you live in a secular state, but even the Muslims will tell you this is a religious country. The Constitution does not deny me to practice my faith or vote it, so you see my faith will show up in my government and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it, by the way I vote and I vote both parties.

Oh yes they are, nothing has ever proven otherwise.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Okay this bullshit pisses me off. Just because your old doesn't mean you know shit. Age doesn't factor into how valid what somebody says is or how much their opinion is worth.

In short, fuck you.

No, I can and will vote my Godly mind and heart, I've never said that I was forcing my beliefs on anyone, that statement is your's and it's wrong. If gay marriage is to be law the people of this country should decide through the vote. The Constitution does not say my faith has to stay out of legislation, again I will vote my Godly mind and heart and that's my Constitutional right.

If the state decides that homosexual marriage should be outlawed based on religious reasoning, that's establishment and is a violation of Constitutional law.

You have the right to vote however you want, insofar as it does not restrict the rights of others. Guess what? Outlawing homosexual marriage is a restriction of the rights of other human beings, and you're a sick person for suggesting they shouldn't be allowed to, your religion be damned. I might take you more seriously if your arguments were even internally consistent; so far nothing you have said is supported by fact or reality.

Oh, and you could no more choose to be homosexual than homosexuals choose to be homosexual, just like you didn't choose to be heterosexual. You were born that way.

Lastly, just because you're older than someone doesn't automatically make you any more credible.

Firstly, you know exactly shit about me, my life or the things I've gone through. Don't. Just don't.

Secondly, the peoples of this country may be religious, but we're secular. Don't believe me, do a quick Google search on the Treaty of Tripoli. Since you likely won't, I'll quote the relevant portion, which is Article 11.
'The Treaty of Tripoli, Article 1 Wrote:Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

It should be noted that this was signed into law by John Adams, who would have known very well the intents of our founding fathers. Make a little more sense now? Gay marriage shouldn't even be put to a vote. it's a human right and should be treated as such.

Obviously, you've never looked into it.

Old man, you have no idea what life is about. Anyone just out of church can't see for the ignorance in front of their nose. Live a real life and not one made up of fantasies and skydaddies-then come and talk to me. You may think you live in a religious state, but even the Muslims will tell you that this is a free country. The Constitution does not deny me to practice common sense or vote it, so you see, my vote will show up in government precisely because ignorant fucks like you somehow manage to find the polls every year to vote your imaginary party line.

Don't get mad little boy, that's a sure sign of immaturity, old is a subjective term, but yes I've got some years on you. You will change your mind when and if you grow up, believe me I've been there. Experience means more than you can imagine.

You should read up on this and find out what is truth and what is hearsay, that's what I did, people have agendas and will give a lot of misleading statements to get people to support them. I assert no guilt on anyone, what are you trying to say?

Your experience means absolutely nothing if it never instilled basic reasoning skills in you.

To the contrary, I have looked into it and what you have quoted is what's there, nothing but speculation, thanks for bring these things up. One more thing genetics can necessarily be rejected because of this, in most cases when one identical twin shows homosexual tendencies the other does not. Since identical twins share exactly the same genes there must be choice involved.
Using the type of language you do shows immaturity, ask a psychologist.

Firstly, I want you to know that psychology is one of my areas of study. Smile

Additionally, identical twins are not exactly genetically the same.
Scientific American Wrote:Identical twins are identical, right? After all, they derive from just one fertilized egg, which contains one set of genetic instructions, or genome, formed from combining the chromosomes of mother and father.

But experience shows that identical twins are rarely completely the same. Until recently, any differences between twins had largely been attributed to environmental influences (otherwise known as "nurture"), but a recent study contradicts that belief.

Geneticist Carl Bruder of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his colleagues closely compared the genomes of 19 sets of adult identical twins. In some cases, one twin's DNA differed from the other's at various points on their genomes. At these sites of genetic divergence, one bore a different number of copies of the same gene, a genetic state called copy number variants. [...]
Found here: http://www.scientificamerican.com/articl...-identical

And even then, that's not at all an acceptable argument to try and disprove the studies done on homosexuality.
