Quote:But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be in danger of judgement: and whosoever say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22
Say...wasn't "Matthew" quoting the alleged godboy in 5:22? You'd think that ole jesus would know what with him allegedly being god and all that shit, wouldn't you?
I just love these religious shits who make it up as they go along!
Reminds me of Romney.

What a terrible thing to say. If Jesus is just half the man the Bible promotes him as then he would be deeply saddened that you would resort to using such a snide little backhanded threat like this.
For shame! One might have expected better from someone who purports to follow in the footsteps of such a character.

Also, this quote quite clearly says hellfire:
But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be in danger of judgement: and whosoever say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22 ALTER2EGO -to- TOBIE:
You are using a Bible version with a translation blunder aka error. Where your version ends with "... shall be in danger of hell fire," it should actually say "... shall be in danger of Gehenna." In the Bible the word "Gehenna" equates to permanent death aka "the second death"—which holds out no hope for a resurrection.
In ancient Israel during the time of Jesus in the 1st century AD, there was a literal placed called Gehenna which served as a garbage dump to completely destroy garbage by burning. So when the Bible writers used the word "Gehenna," the 1st century Jews would have immediately made the connection that it means permanent destruction from which there is no resurrection.
To prove to you that your translation has erroneously inserted "hell fire" where the word "Gehenna" is supposed to be, notice a few parallel translations below.
VARIOUS TRANSLATIONS OF MATTHEW 5:22
New World Translation
"However, I say to you that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother will be accountable to the court of justice; but whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court; whereas whoever says, "You despicable fool!" will be liable to the fiery Gehenna."
Aramaic Bible in Plain English
"But I am saying to you, that everyone who will be angry against his brother without cause is condemned before the judge, and everyone who will say to his brother, 'I spit on you', is condemned before the assembly, and whoever will say 'You fool.' is condemned to the Gehenna of fire."
Weymouth New Testament
"But I say to you that every one who becomes angry with his brother shall be answerable to the magistrate; that whoever says to his brother 'Raca,' shall be answerable to the Sanhedrin; and that whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be liable to the Gehenna of Fire."
World English Bible
"But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna."
Young's Literal Translation
"but I -- I say to you, that every one who is angry at his brother without cause, shall be in danger of the judgment, and whoever may say to his brother, Empty fellow! shall be in danger of the sanhedrim, and whoever may say, Rebel! shall be in danger of the gehenna of the fire."

So, only your bible is the right one? And it so just happens, that if one reads the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, German or Finnish version, one's wrong if they all mention burning in hellfire? Once again, the bible is a failure as an accurate description of anything, since it seems that no one can translate the piece of shit decently.
Well, hell or no, I'm sure that Gehenna is just a lovely and warm place..
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Gehenna is analogous to hell, and refers to the "Valley of the Son of Hinnom" , so not actually hell, so your waffle is irrelevant. Unless you seriously believe that all bad people go to a valley outside Jerusalem.

I will let the Bible answer that for you.
"For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
QUESTION #1 to GODSCHILD: Did you see the two options at Romans 6:23?
QUESTION #2 to GODSCHILD: What is the opposite of life?
SUGGESTION: I encourage you to answer the 8 questions in my OP, then we will go from there.
