I wonder if this wasn't some contract dispute between the two shows and Comedy Central?

Both of them get more time off than Congress(being sarcastic) but they at leas play the repeats. This was out of the norm.

I watch it everyday on the internet... nothing like that gets aired over here in Scotland (apart from the weekly global edition, but that ain't enough for me ).

Now you peaked my curiosity, beyond this issue of those shows. What "annoys" you about Cobert?

I hope you understand he is just a character poking fun of the self centered jackasses on the political and religious right. I find that refreshing, not annoying.

I don't know. There is something about Colbert's delivery/style whatever that just annoys the piss out of me. Comedy is a strange duck. Maybe it is just that he follows Stewart and I LOVE Stewart!

Out of all of them Cobert has to be the LEAST offensive and the most bold and heroic standing up to the bullies. I love Jon and Maher, but Cobert. He is the most polite "fuck you jackass" without using those words.
