Awesome. Glad to hear that some de-conversion stories don't break up marriages but make them better.

That is a feel-gooder for sure. I hope she makes it all the way out.

That is great. I'm glad to hear that the family wasn't shattered over a simple change in beliefs.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

From being a Mormon to being a human, 'we suddenly have 10 percent more income. Whoa, our weekend free time just doubled. Whoa, we can try alcohol, coffee and tea — the trifecta of forbidden drinks.' and this, 'When I shed my garments for slippery Victoria Secret panties, my self-esteem skyrocketed, and our late nights shifted to other things' -

Reasons to de-convert

1)No magic pants
2)Victoria Secret Panties
3)10% more cash (reason enough)
4)Lay in on Sundays.
5)More sex, probably far better sex too.

I read this article just a few days ago. it's very touching. I felt the same kind of reconnect with Hovik when I finally shrugged off my theism. We were able to grow more completely with each other and I'm so glad that couple is free and happy.

Very good story.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
