I do not believe in an afterlife. I do not believe in a moral obligation to talk others out of suicide. Your life is your own and you have the right to terminate it. Sorry you are suffering. :-(

If you've already made the decision to end your life, your existence, why are you telling us of all people? You haven't been here long enough to make much of an impact upon this community. And why do you care to know what we think when you already know eternal oblivion will render such knowledge inconsequential and meaningless?

So why not ask that? Why say you are going to kill yourself? If you are serious, I am sorry and hope you get help. If you are not serious, shame on you for playing with people's emotions. There are some very compassionate people here would devote a lot of time to help someone with a legitimate problem. It is unkind to attempt to take advantage of them.
