Neil Degrasse Tyson, Agnostic

RE: Neil Degrasse Tyson, Agnostic
I don't think it really matters whether Tyson is atheist, agnostic, deist, or an apatheist.

Functionally they are all the same thing. Truth be told we will never know 100% whether or not such a thing as deity exists unless we get a surprise after we die. At the end of the day I am okay with saying "No I don't know if there is any such thing as a fucking God". It is good to avoid labels when dealing with this discussion anyway -.-.

Labels suck donkey dick and just create problems. If you tell someone you are anything automatically a certain set of criteria will pop into their head.

Agreed.

I have not seen this chap before - obviously don't get his programmes (note the correct spelling of this word) in the UK. Just looked him up on wikipedia, and he seems to be on our side of the argument.

So, where does Australia go on this scale?

So, where does Australia go on this scale?

The English created a global empire by being absolute b*****ds and blowing up anyone who got in the way. The Americans have carried on the tradition. The Australians went to the other side of the world and played ball games.

We were lucky in that the English didn't want to know anything about us so we had to fend for ourselves... ball games not included.

YOU DO realise that this is a prisoner Island for a reason... at least we don't call our National game the "World Series" not that pretentious ....Yes?? Big Grin
