I'm not saying you are not justified in Atheism.
I'm not stating you should become Theists.
I'm not stating Theists are justified in believing in God.
I'm saying there is no rational knock out argument to show either way.
Why? Because as far logical possibilities, then all are possible. This is different then actual possible.
Yes it doesn't mean because it is possible, that necessarily believers are justified in their belief. But just like I shouldn't be telling Atheists they should become Theists because I feel I know God exists, the same is true of the other way around, don't you guys agree? Because you feel you don't know God exists, doesn't mean a Theist should feel the same way necessarily. You maybe totally right that they shouldn't, but do you have proof and evidence?
If not, what's the point of asserting it constantly? Isn't it this what you dislike about Theists, is coming on here, asserting you should believe in God without proof?
All I'm saying, it's something people have to decide within. Hostility or constantly wanting to assert one's disbelief on others, doesn't come across well, and doesn't make you seem more logical, in the same way theists telling disbelievers they should believe and trying to assert their belief doesn't come across as logical.

In other words, you are typing lots and lots of words to make no point whatsoever. Everyone knows that the existence of gods cannot be proven nor disproved. Everyone knows that there is always the slight possibility that one side or the other is correct. It all comes down to a matter of what one believes to be true.
In the immortal words of Chester Cheetah... "Yes, we know."

I didn't assert this just to be clear. I didn't state Atheist cannot know Theists are deluded about their belief in knowledge of God.
Also I didn't state Theists cannot know God as well.
Both of these maybe true, but at the end, I didn't make such a claim.

Whatever. The specifics are not my point, really. My point is that you have not made one. You have rambled on incessantly, almost like you are typing in "flow of (semi)consciousness" style... and you haven't said anything of any import whatsoever. It's either pointing out the obvious, or expressing your own views on how others should interpret things.
Is there a word for this? Diarrhea of the keyboard, maybe?

I disagree with you. I made many points and shared many thoughts, that relate to the subject at hand. I don't know the point of your hostility, but just for your information, I don't take things personally on the internet.

I don't feel any hostility. I'm simply expressing the opinion that you seem to ramble on and on pointlessly. Usually, I don't bother mentioning it, as it isn't my problem... but something about this thread in particular inspired me to say something about it.
No worries. Just go back to failing to make any coherent points and I'll go back to ignoring it.

Why would a 'benevolent creator' punish me by not 'persevering my soul' for the finite thought crime of disbelieving he/she/it exists? You do see that any 'creator' that would punish someone for that is not truly benevolent...right?
It does not require any courage on my part to disbelieve in a god for which there's not a shred of demonstrable evidence, reasoned argument or valid logic to support its existence.
I see you changed your religious views.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I never meant God would punish you or not preserve your soul if you disbelieved in him.
What I tried to say, is that, you will be without the comfort in thought of a benevolent creator whom would preserve your soul and other souls.

OK

I have zero discomfort in the thought that there is no 'benevolent creator' preserving my 'soul' or others 'souls'. I am completely comfortable with the thought, that if everything goes well, I will have my 80 or so years of life, and nothing more.
I am not afraid of death. Which leads me to believe that your main reason for your belief is your fear of death.
I am much more uncomfortable with the thought that I would believe something just because it made me feel better. I have way too much intellectual honesty and integrity for that. Lying to myself so I have some 'warm fuzzy' feelings about what happens after I die is very distasteful to me.
