I think pretty much everything I want to say about this horrible, horrible incident has been said already (apart from the loser idiots thing). The witness accounts are simply heartbreaking. All I can add is that it's such a sad, selfish thing when someone feels it necessary to take something nice, something normal, something that gives people pleasure and destroy it just because they can.

While still administering first aid, Brent noticed that Jessica was no longer screaming. He advised that he looked over to Jessica and saw what appeared to be an entry wound to her head."

at least they got the guy and apprehended him alive, so that he may face the proper consequences. there are some fucked up people.

in another note, this happened about 5 miles from my house. an 10yo girl was walking from a store to her parents home - about 2 blocks - when some freak ran up and attempted to kidnap her. he tried twice to pick her up, yet her bites and scuffling along with her 2yo brother's screams, thwarted the attempt. the whole thing was caught on a neighbor's security system. he turned himself in. smh.
