He IS that unintelligent! That is exactly the problem with giving him real power. He's a great public figure but having him as PM could be quite catastrophic.
He really isn't. The man is a genius.

He is very, very intelligent.
The guy went to Eton and got into Oxford, he's very well educated. He was, before becoming MoL, and still is, a monthly columnist for the Telegraph, one of the finest newspapers(as opposed to tabloid). Formally he was the editor of the Spectator. And when he was younger he wasn't connected like Cameron or Osborne, he was a Kings Scholar at Eton, meaning he was there on a scholarship, not because his family are stinking rich. Everything he has done has been from hard work and being smart. Ignore the weird hair and forced accent that stuck. Not to mention his permanent sunny disposition. Smart man is smart. After one of our less savoury Tory's said in a tweet a load of bs about multiculturalism and leftieness of the opening ceromy, bbc sport put this Boris quote on their text commentary. Quote:London Mayor Boris Johnson says suggestions that the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games was left-wing are "nonsense". The event, he says, left him with "hot tears of patriotic pride from the beginning". Hot tears of patriotic pride. Genius. |
