yes but science tells us........... those plant species existed in ancient times and simply went extinct, and those drawings of large boats "big enough to fit orchards" and all that, were likely never built (assuming they could float). There's also no evidece of the holy land (I'm not googling what they called it) was America it could have easily been Madagascar.........

Fell was not an archaeologist at all. He had a PH. D. in marine biology.
He may have been quite accomplished when it comes to dealing with marine invertebrates but....

When you get to know me a bit better you will learn that I regard anyone holding a "theology" degree ( of any type ) as a fraud who should get into an honest line of work.
I doubt he became less of an asshole when he converted.
Who was the other one you mentioned?

I made no claims, simply pointed out the claims,which according to the evidence may or may not be true.I think it's unlikely, but who knows?

Have you watched Jerald Dirks videos or read his work? His most famous book is called 'Muslims in American History: A Forgotten Legacy'. Honestly, I don't see how he is a fraud. Fell looks dodgy but I can't agree on Dirks.

It's slow but the main point is that the person in the video believes the Lakota nations was one of the original tribes of Islam.

I think I want the woman facing him to turn to face the camera so I can decide whether I'd tap that or not.
Other than that I'm not sure if this makes the Islamic faith as a whole anymore plausible than before I watched this video. It just tells me that all creeds are susceptible to the ever-varied poison of the mind that is religion.

Is there something you don't understand by the term 'contemporary evidence'?. It means 'from the same time as the event(s]/person'. Usually refers to credible eyewitnesses. (plural)

No. I do regard anyone who pretends to know....on the basis of reading old books....what happens after death as a crackpot. That includes ALL religions, not just your own.

We get xtian tools in here all the time claiming jesus this or jesus that and for all I know what they are actually experiencing is constipation.
You see my friend, and I'm starting to appreciate you, until evidence is provided that any deity exists I am not willing to grant that "allah" converted him to anything.
You do not get to skip Step #1. The assertions of believers do not constitute evidence for the existence of whatever god they elect to follow.
