Poll data relating to racism by party

Republicans have the tea party, and Democrats have the occupy movement. You can spin party intolerance both ways; the Republicans had a black party chairman for a number of years, and the Democrats have fielded Fred Phelps (well known hate-mongerer) for Kansas Governor multiple times, as well as for the US Senate.

Neither party is racist, but due to the fact that quite a few Americans still are, it doesn't surprise me that there are racist / intolerance elements in both.
Definitely looks like they failed to make that connection as the poll results have indicated. Maybe Berkley should attempt another poll that would ask voters how they feel about the current economy, the national unemployment rate of 8.3%, or what their feelings are about the nearly $16 trillion of national debt we have.

Yeah Bush has a lot to answer for.

His policies so shagged the world that it could take decades to recover.

You do know that the last depression was only ended by world war 2 don't you.

I do know that whenever the left is confronted with the current economy, the nearly $16 trillion of national debt, and the 8.3% national unemployment rate, they deflect and distract by either blaming Bush or screaming racism.

(The "Poll data relating to racism by partyPoll data relating to racism by party" thread failed to establish that the Republicans are more racist than the Democrats.)

I know that whenever republicans are confronted with any kind of criticism, they ignore it or blame it on the left/communists/socialists/Obama/ muslims.

That's because democrats are fucking right.

Democrats aren't right. They lie and they distract from the current economy, the nearly $16 trillion of national debt, and the 8.3% national unemployment rate. Barack Obama promised to cut the national debt, but instead added another $5 trillion to it. Barack Obama promised to reduce the national unemployment rate to 6% by the end of his term. Our unemployment rate remains above 8%....and just because you cling to the propaganda like flies on shit doesn't mean that what you're saying is right.

You know no such thing. You believe it to be true. AS far as I can see, that is a false belief.

You keep using the term 'the left' as if it is meaningful. There is no effective political left in the US and has not been since the 1960's. Right now, there is the far right, centre and centre right, period.

America's massive debt has been caused by the far right which encourages and profits from America's innate jingoism.Since WW2,the US has been engaged in 50 unnecessary armed conflicts, costing $TRILLIONS

The cost of U.S. military action in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan will run to at least $3.7trillion, a study has revealed today.

The staggering figure could reach as high as $4.4trillion, with the deaths of up to 258,000 people, according to research by Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies.

In human terms, 224,000 to 258,000 people have died directly from warfare - including 125,000 civilians in Iraq.
