In what way is the GOP supporting womens' health issues? Proposing to ban abortion outright is not going to help women in any way, and in some cases, can be severely detrimental to women's health. Rape victims who were made pregnant would have to keep the child - traumatising for the mother and possibly for the child as well.

Oh no, I hope you're not trying to paint every republican with the same misogynist brush just because they are willing to accept anti-women planks and vote for the candidates that indorse them. Surely you realize that they may actually support the party and its candidates for completely unrelated reasons. It may not be that they themselves embrace misogynist positions. I would say that unrestricted abortions on demand, late term abortions, and partial birth abortions beyond the scope of cases that involve saving the life of the mother and cases involving rape and incest need defending. I would also like to see Planned Parenthood defunded as long as they continue abortion proceedures....and I don't think that taxpayers should be held accountable for all the reckless behavior and irresponsible choices made by the Sandra Flukes.
