The Democrats have become really no different than the Republicans. They may advocate for mere cosmetic differences, but they just as soon abandon these causes. Both have become liars and cheats, corrupt to their core.
Their hypocritical bullshit is why I first switched to just Democratic Socialism (this is what the Democrats should be if they actually stood by their ideals) and then to Green Party because of their liberal immigration policy and pretty much matching up with my political beliefs....social democracy, non-violence, decentralization, feminism, and environmentalism (though depends on the situation).
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Ok, advocating for the political party that best protects your job..... am I missing the problem here? As 5thhorseman pointed out, it's true. I mean, if the GOP better serves the FAA employees, they're more than welcome to try to make their case as well.
Also, why is it 'voter manipulation' when the FAA tells their employees that Ryan puts their jobs at risk but not when the Republican party goes out of their way to suppress the black vote?

Let's turn this around... I come from Wal*Mart-land. When Clinton was running for his first term in office, Mr. Sam Walton announced at a mandatory Saturday meeting for all home office employees, that they should vote for their state's governor for the primary. But should know that the republican candidate is who they should back in the general election, as the republicans are the champions of big business. Perhaps, just in general, employers should refrain from telling their employees whom to vote for. However, it is more appropriate for a government agency, that is likely to be gutted by one party, to point out this likely defunding to their employees.

I'm inclined to agree that the Democrats are hardly heroes. There's a lot of self-serving and pandering in that party. There is corruption and graft and whoring to the constituents. I'd never deny it. The thing is, that only applies until you compare them to the Republicans, who have somehow become a party no one in their right mind should ever vote for. There really is practically nothing about the party, or especially its platform, which has any redeeming qualities.
I'm voting Democrat hardly because I love the Democratic Party, but because the Republican Party is terrifying and insane. They aren't the Nazis of 1932, and it isn't really even a close thing, but they might be as close as this country has come in decades to that.

Oh, that? That's called reasoning what you stand to gain and lose if one or the other candidate wins. That isn't a bad thing. That's what voters should be doing. Prohibiting citizens from voting at all who are likely to vote against your candidate .. now that would be something to get upset about.
