Why Fundies Say I'm Not a Christian

To say that Muslims are more prone to be whack jobs than Christians just goes to show where you've been living and with whom. You are aware that not every Christian is a doctor killing, fundamentalist nutter because you live among them and know a range of Christians. You're really scrapping the bottom of the barrel if you take Lords resistance army to be Christian. If you guys think Islam isn't the most dangerous religion in the world today, that's fine. Atheists are supposed to be rational but I think we humans are all the same. We are controlled if not by religion, then by what we perceive to be political correctness. That will be the undoing of the Western world if everyone tries to excuse Islam for all the violent crimes that have been committed. I agree that 500 years ago, I would have targeted Christianity as the most dangerous religion on the planet. Today, it's Islam but it's ok. The adult world will always be governed by political correctness. Let's recite our Creed on bended knees: "Islam is a religion of peace". If you say that 100 times a day, you might actually believe it.

Can some rational person tell me at least that I'm right? I'm not excusing Christianity. I'm not defending its superstition and supernatural nonsense. I'm not defending its ugly past and not its ugly present. I'm only saying Islam is a lot more dangerous and if you can't say it because it's against your idea of good manners, at least admit it.

Then let's look only at the headlines. Christians cause a lot of harm as do radical Hindus in India. But which religion causes the most harm that far outstrips the combined evils of all other religions? Can I ask that question or is it politically incorrect to do so? Which religion is so touchy that you've got to be careful if you're merely a cartoonist. Look at how punk rockers have blasphemed Christianity on stage and nothing happens to them. You try doing that to the RELIGION OF PEACE and see if you survive the experience.

Come on, surely you guys are better than that. But I suppose I'm only a child and I'll learn to toe the line one day and be politically correct because the majority of Muslims aren't Caucasian and we would sound racist if we say Islam isn't a religion of peace. After all, it's a lot safer to pick on Christianity - they don't kill you even if you blaspheme in the centre of Vatican Square. People will just think you're crazy. So let's be perfectly honest. You are saying that if you count the death tolls in today's world, there'd be no difference in Islamic killings when compared to another religion, say, Christianity? Do you REALLY believe that?

Do you guys even see how reluctant you all are to condemn the real menace in today's world? OK, my plan is actually quite good. In the end, nobody gets hurt. It's the only way you can reform even the most diehard Muslim extremist without hurting him. My plan is not really violent. It's not more violent than the demolition of a building - they've done that in London too. Nobody gets hurt and EVERYONE, all the Muslim extremists will suddenly just turn over a new leaf. They'd laugh at themselves for wanting to strap bombs on their bodies. We can all laugh over the past and we know that nobody is going to kill anyone any more. Cartoonists can draw whatever they want and Rushdie can write Satanic Verse Part 2 and even the Ayatollah will read his book and chuckle with Rushdie over a pint of bitter. And guess what??? Greneknight will be awarded the NOBEL PRIZE FOR PEACE. Woots!!!!!!!!

Let me ask, please, one more time. Which religion is most destructive and has caused the largest number of deaths in today's world, so much so that newspaper companies can get bombed if they publish a mere cartoon? Let's do a death count. Which religion is most destructive as far as deaths go? Let's not talk about silly things like emotional trauma which can't be quantified. We're talking about snuffing off the lives of innocent people. Not just the famous two bombings in Bali. But also in New York, London, Madrid, Mumbai, Israel, etc.

Have you ever wondered how many people commit suicide from having abusive fundie parents or other shit? It isn't as simple as "they blew more shit up in the last 10 years, so they are more dangerous".
