Can't say I'm very surprised by the news of savages acting like savages.

You cant change human nature, but you can plant seeds that can change an environment. Again, the only thing stoping Christianity in the west from the same savagry is the concept of non violence, peacful protest and the protection of dissent and free speech. It wasn't that long ago that Christianity was as savage as Islam.

I am neither a dominionist or an isolationist. I do think however Every fucking president, including Obama, since Nixon, all of them have been pussies when it comes to oil. America treats oil like crack cocain and we let the Middle East lead us by the nose.

I do not think however we can or should sever all ties to the East. I think it always going to be a balancing act. But I do think our problem interfering has been alot like when your friend offers to fix your car, they fuck it up, then the next time it breaks they remember what you did to it. Many in the east don't hate us, but do hate that we interfere and make things worse instead of better.

The first Gulf War was a perfect example. I think the east would have a better opinion of us if we had finished off Sadam the first time. And even the second one, started by lies, too many civilians killed, and the tribal violence wasn't stopped.

I think America is still stuck on winning WW2 and the nature of war is no longer conventional. It is more like fighting ghosts now, because people simply have learned to blend in and mimic friendship and or ambush tactics. The lone wolf tactic allows a cause to hide, harder to detect because it is not government sponserord.

If the west is going to lead the east, it must adust to changing times. I think the better tactic than war, is to not give the title "terrorist" to them. I think they should be treated like the mere criminals they are.

I also think that the explosion of media is more powerful than weapons increasingly. They may use it to spread hate, but all who want peace can use that same media too.
