Exercise for exercises sake is normally temporary. A goal, such as running a half marathon, isn't bad either, but the best is joining a sport you truly love.

I agree. That's the best way. Last time I tried to find indoor soccer league, it got canceled. I am going to look online for either ball hockey or soccer.

You know, you should let us know how it's going, what your goals are and how close you are to reaching them.

Good luck! My cousin is a PT, and lives in my neighborhood, so he forces me into submission. I've banned the 4am door poundings, but he still manages to keep my ass in gear. I hate working out, but I must.

Here is my main weight lifting:

Now seriously, I've been doing so much land work (plowing, etc), that I don't really need a gym.

My goal is to get a 6/8 pack and be toned. I've done it before about 4 years ago.

I am not fat, I'm average, but would like to get toned. I don't know my exact weight.

I took a break for two days (laziness) but went to the gym today. Worked out my chest pretty hard and had a protein shake. I also worked out triceps.

I'm gonna run a little later for 26 minutues hopefully.

I did that, at 7.3 miles per hour.

Nice man, that means that you are starting out in fairly decent shape then. Most people in the US certainly couldn't do it. I remember one time I was giving directions to some tourists, and told them that what they wanted to go see was about a mile walk away, they looked at me with extreme incredulity at the very suggestion they walk for a mile.

Nice. I like this thread.

I recently gave up smoking and started running daily. Sadly, I fucked up my knee, was forced by boyfriend to stop running until it was better, then needed oral surgery, so I had to stop running anyway. A few more days and I will back at it. I also do yoga, cool down stretch, occasional calisthenics and occasional boxing/kickboxing.

I only rode 10Km today, it was very windy. I am positive I was riding against the wind the whole time. That makes it 115Km for the week.

I worked out legs today at the gym. I'm not going to run today because I worked out legs and don't want to injur myself.

That's excellent. Keep it up!
