What sports are people into?
October 8, 2012 at 7:40 am
I was a competitive fencer in high school. I'd love to get back into it, but time constraints (family obligations) and initial equipment investment costs (shared masks are stinky and gross), prevent me from doing so at this time. I don't watch a lot of sports, but have recently gotten into watching boxing, especially the lighter weight divisions, but I'll just watch whatever is on, I don't follow the rankings. I make an effort to watch the Super Bowl every year, but don't follow throughout the season.
I'm getting back into my workout routine. I try to go to the gym 4-5 times a week. Running on an elliptical and doing some strength exercises and weights.

If I fenced with 2x4s my arms would be way more impressive... Plus, imagine the damage one could inflict... Not a bad idea.

Well I'm a full time self supported rock climber. I climb around 250 days a year. It's pretty much all that I do and think about other than these forums. Rock climbing the ultimate combination of mental and physical control.

I watch a lot of soccer. I follow my local college team, San Diego State. Been to one each of the men's/women's College Cups (the final four tourney). Women here in San Diego in '12 and men up in Santa Barbara in '10. Other than that, mainly Seattle Sounders (MLS) and Portland Thorns (NWSL).
I also enjoy watching college tennis, gymnastics and volleyball.
