WoW! All the anger! It's all about "ME"....And what "I" expect from God! He didn't answer that time "I" prayed, on my knees when "I" was 5 or 7...or...uh... oh....when bullies pantsed me...or when my mommy was dying of cancer!

Prayers being answered without regard to probability or the laws of physics would be evidence in favor of a being that answers prayers. That not happening is evidence against such a being. It's theists who tell us that God answers prayers, we're just evaluating their claims.

It seems to be the case that if you pray for something that is reasonably likely, you are reasonably likely to see what you prayed for happen. If you pray for something that is unlikely, you are unlikely to see what you prayed for happen, but it will still happen occasionally. If you pray for something that actually would require a miracle, you will never see what you prayed for happen. This is what is expected if no one is answering prayers with any kind of supernatural power.

Of course, it doesn't rule out a God who doesn't answer prayers, but that's the God of deists, not Christians.
