I actually find them somewhat insidious. I can't remember if the text is abridged, but I have some recollection of certain passages being omitted or just dumbed down. You know, just in case any kids actually stopped and thought about the genocide instead of the little rainbow

Everytime a fundie sees a rainbow, they will give thanks and remember that it is the beauty of Gods promise (they leave off gods promise to what??). Gods promise not to murder nearly every living thing on the planet again!! Well, using a flood anyway. He can do it other ways though (left himself a nice loophole there, lol).

Because I'd not been following the thread I thought the above images were of a gay version of the bible at first, till I realised how unlikely that was and until it clicked how the arc and rainbow linked together. (and how good news = catholic version right, or at least catholic endorsed? I know the catholics in Aus use it)
