Good chance for a boom economy and lower gas prices before Obama's term is up thanks to fracking delivering cheap domestic oil (for the 10 or 15 years it will probably last).

If they're conservative, then they're not really your friend.

Eventually I hope to have a guest cottage in the garden but for the time being there is only a guest room. My wife Lia and I find house guests too inhibiting to our natural style of taking all our frustrations out on each other for a longer stay. (We don't either of us take it personally but this is the way we cope.) Plus we tend to parade around in a state of complete undress whenever the weather permits - so most of the time. And Lia works at odd hours, sometimes noisily in the studio. Do come visit though. We can behave ourselves for short bursts.
That would be cool. If I ever have to head that way, I'll keep an eye out for you. I figure SF and California in general has to be a pretty safe place for a queer couple like Lee an moi, correct?
Anyway, I stepped back in here because the idiots are at it again. This time, a woman tried to run over her husband because she blames Obama's reelection on his not voting. She eventually caught up with him and pinned him under the car.

All my conservative friends are super fucking salty. Over a week later and still salty. Most of them are facebitching about welfare endlessly.

Sometimes while they need it. Remember, welfare is only bad when brown people use it.

We'll see in two years how leftists will react when Conservatives re-take the Senate and resume control over the House...Obama's next four years will be filled with scandal, (like Benghazi), and continued partisan bickering...

Can you help me out here, A? Conservatives keep harping on Libya and wondering why everyone else has moved on. Some religious fanatics attacked some Americans. What's the "scandal" that we're all supposed to be so obsessed with?

My ultra conservative, Mormon (and largely uneducated) sister-in-law posted a rant on fb about how the economy was going in the tank and how when asked to donate she and others would have to say Obama already took that money. Then her contacts started chiming in about how they hate California and either plan to or wish they could move. Win win in my book.
