On further reflection, it seems the cake is a pie. Specifically apple.

What about pie crusts? I have to make one of those in a couple of days, and they never turn out right Undecided I guess I am not worthy of the pastry-god.

Depends how many digits of pie you use, I think. You'll never get it perfect because the pie goes on forever.
