Isn't having faith in something you don't understand the point of theism? As an atheist will have faith only in what they do understand.

Catfish- I don't feel as though you thoroughly read the op. your third option is non-existent. God or satan? Those are the choices. Man is not a creator in the bible and we know this. No man did not create evil, he committed it. So is god evil or is satan more powerful than you think?

Take it easy John d. The moment you informed me of Isaiah I understood what you did. I am proceeding to ask who created evil (god or satan) because christians will deny it if you say god made evil. I am offering to them that if he did not, their only other option is satan...which would make him a creator. So, I understand.
See how catfish kept ditching the question? He even tried sayin MAN created evil. It's a simple question I asked and they won't just answer it because they fear what they would have to admit. So they treat it as non- important. God is evil... Yea sure that's not important. Idiots RE: Good ol evil

You created a false dilema and I saw another option which you don't seem to like. You also referenced "original sin", a Catholic doctrine which I do not like. However, if you wish to use your logic, then God created the universe and subsequently, everything in it, end of story... But how does this statement fit it terms of humans? "One might argue that the bible says that satan " allowed evil to manifest in his heart." We'll, this still implies that it was created within him, that by "allowing" it to manifest in this way is still creation because the evil was not there before. It would be his tactic of creation. If he did not create evil, then god did." Would you still assert that man is not a creator? . (December 7, 2012 at 7:51 pm)SpecUVdust Wrote: Take it easy John d. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil" With the creation of "light", wouldn't the creation of "darkness" follow? With the creation of "peace", which word from the defition of RO would best fit? I say it should be "trouble, calamity". . |
