You probably do not assume the gun is unloaded. Perhaps you check to make sure?
I think some of these jerks check by pulling the trigger.

I've had plenty of UD's KUSA, once, with a 249- it ran the rest of the bando out before it stopped. Strangely, no one was shot - didn't even graze a motherfucker....... I find it amazing that these folks can, on accident, with a single round from a handgun - manage to do what I could not with a belt fed machine gun. Imagine what they could accomplish if they actually tried....eh?
(where's a recruiter when you need one...)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Another dead kid to add to the pile of Freedom Bodies.

Am I the only one who doubts the wisdom of giving a 15 year old kid a pistol to keep in his room?

Whatever happened to calling the cops>....? Kid had a pistol but not a phone.........?
(course they probably would have shot the kid just as dead, on principle.....)

Another L-ARGO who did everything right....until that one time.

That's all it takes in Gun Nut Nation. One tiny fuck up. You'd think one of the safety rules would be "don't point a loaded gun at your own balls."

Actual research. Includes a link to the study. One hopes the words aren't too complex for Gun Nut Nation.
