I'm in a similar situation, except I don't have a girlfirend nor do I play trombone.

I'm from East Tennessee as well! Kingsport. Thanks forthe many welcomes guys. I feel very welcomed haha. And no, I don't have a care in the world for football. I stopped believing in Catholicism because of all the contradictions I noticed. Thanks for the advice as well. I'll probably tell her(my gf) soon. Next time religion comes up. I'll wait a while for my parents. It's really nice to know there are so many other Atheists out there

You haz a Bojangles thar and iz a Krystal's in Bristol (I used to stop off in the Tri-Cities for a meal when I used to make lots of road trips from Boston, MA to Middle TN). Anyways you're a Catholic in TN so you should have some experience of being ostracized for your beliefs already.

Hi, I'm a Southerner myself. I'm from Birmingham, Alabama. I remember when I was a teen atheist - just a few years ago (I'm 22 now)!
I can't say that I relate to your situation because my mother is also an atheist and my father is agnostic. Plus, I don't have a girlfriend. It's hard to meet out single lesbians in Alabama. Also, I've always been an atheist, I never "decided" to become one. (February 9, 2013 at 10:56 pm)futilethewinds Wrote: . It's hard to meet out single lesbians in Alabama. I thought single lesbians would be the only kind in Alabama, I wasn't aware that Alabama had legalized or recognized gay marriage.

Is it wrong for a polyamorous woman to say she's single for 1-night stand purposes? Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
