May I have permission to create a sock account if I can do it without the staff being aware? None of you guys would know so you wouldn't be breaking any rules.

Can I ask - why would you announce in public that you want to do something secret?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Because I don't want to be banned on suspicion of it and I don't want some poor noob who just joined to banned on suspicion alone.

I think you do the staff an injustice. There's so much more involved than suspicion alone. However, by advertising your intentions in public the way you did, you must expect to attract suspicion.

Doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to post youtube clips and funny pictures.

That's true; though to reiterate and illustrate the point I was trying to make, while I've seen plenty of traditional poes from Edward Current to Reverend Ernest Poe (aka AronRa) and my very own creation Michael Roe de Botha-Shaw (watch this space!), I've not come across any that, successfully or not, go the other way. I was speculating on the viability of doing so. Besides, is the posting of video clips and pictures all there is to playing poe?

Put it to the staff please. See what they say. What are the moral implications of allowing something like that? I promise to never interact with my evil self, no kudos, reps, blah, blah, blah,,,,

C'mon, I know all the quotes, all the vids, evilbible.com, all the ad-homs, all the strawmen, pretty much everything... It'll be fun!

Don't worry, I won't ban you. If you ever go into meltdown, and the staff deems it necessary to ban you, I won't do it, I'll save you for Stimbo, just for the time he has spent trying to explain that things on this forum:
