Who, exactly, did they multiply with? You've been with the fundies too long
This is a contradiction in the bible. I didn't write the fucking thing.
You said you had not seen a single contradiction in the bible.
God made the first man and woman, adam and eve. They had children and then the children were sent out to multiply, but the only people on the earth, according to the bible, were adam, eve and their children.
How is this not a contradiction?

"Male and female created He them"
Before Eve there was "them", Adm (human).
Simple math and logic...

Really? I took the "them" to refer to A&E. Simple English.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

lets be clear here: god simply forgot to mention that he created other in distant lands at the same time as adam and eve? Can we also assume that these distant lands were outside of the garden? Can we assume that none of the other people he created we worthy of mention? Can we assume they all followed gods rules completely and didn't commit sins, or was there just on tree of knowledge that existed so they didn't have the opportunity to commit sin?
This is simple CHRISTIAN logic and math at its best.
Thank you so much for clarifying that sticky point for me.

Follow the timeline... "Them" was created before Eve supposedly was.

You do realise that A&E were commanded to replenish the Earth too?

You are stepping on your own knuckles.
If "them" refered to adam and eve, it logically disallows others.

You read them all equally with the same amount of non-bias as you read the Bible? I'm doubting you did.

What, giant ants? Regardless, this would be in the first Genesis account, yes? The one which has humans created before animals, instead of afterwards as in Gen 2? Not to mention having plants created before humans, which makes the second creation of them after humans in Gen 2 a little redundant.
