Any questions on Islam?

I've been told (by a not so reliable authoritative source), that the disagreement between Muslims and Jews stems from the Biblical story of Abraham where Abraham's son with Hagar was expelled and replaced by Sarah's son as rightful heir. Thus Hagar's line of people were disinherited and the Quran is an illigitimate claim that they created to whatever it was the Jews supposedly inherited. Thus that's why they fight.

I know full well how ridiculous this sounds as I don't understand it quite myself. Just go with it
So my question is, how would I argue against this person as to the real reason for the discourse between Muslim faith and Jewish faith?

Well, there is a simple response as to why Jews and Muslims have different beliefs. Jews reject Jesus Christ and Muhammad outright. That's two messengers and prophets they reject, not just one, which isn't acceptable at all. The story of Abraham differs between both the Jews and Muslims but this is simply a by-product of the Jewish rejection of the latter messengers.

I don't feel guilty. It seems you have difficulty reading English since the webpage clearly states "e.g presumption of guilt". There is a big difference between "e.g" and "i.e". Do your research.
