Why cant I give rep to a person twice?

You cannot give a person multiple rep, but you can update your previous rep of them (at which point it will appear at the top of their rep page).
You can however, give multiple kudos to a person. 
How about we allow multiple reps if you pay the site for them?

When I was 16, I oftern didnt have the money to go out and get drunk in the pubs.
I would get an empty cup and spend 2 hours going rom classroom to classroom in my school or on the streets, asking random people if they could donate money - so I could build a "spaceship". The donations usualy came in form of 5-10 cent coins. But enought to get drunk in total. Better sceme than yours.  Quote:So why cant I give rep to a person twice?
