If You Were Religious, What Religion Would it Be?

I agree, I would probably be Buddhist as well. Seems to be a much more open, encouraging religion... Things have always been and they always will be.... respect yourself and all others. Rather than I MADE THE EVERYTHING I AM THE MASTER, LISTEN TO ME OR BURN IN HELLL ARRRRHHH (Christianity)

Seems like this is true. I admit I didn't actually know what I was talking about and haven't done any research on the religion until now. I was just going from what I heard from word of mouth. I stand corrected.

If I were religious, I would probably be either a Buddhist or a Satanist. While seeming extremely different at first glance, Buddhism and Satanism both share an encouragement of thinking, rather than an aversion to it. I think any religion I would join would have to have that feature. I would probably lean more towards Satanism because I think that it is important to indulge your desires, to some extent. Not that you cannot indulge your desires under Buddhism, but one of the main goals of Buddhism is the cessation of desire, which I actually do not philosophically agree with.

That's a bit like asking if white were to be black, what shade of black would it be. The answer is that shade of black that is totally devoid of any element of blackness.

So if I were religious, I would follow a religion which would never qualify as a religion, and I would be devoted to it in a way that would never mark me as religious.
