Are you guys inside my head??? The Guernica (print) hung on the dining room wall in my house all through growing up, then I inherited it, then I gave it to my sister who keeps it on the wall in her guest bedroom.
I have Dali all over my house (he's my favorite).
And Starry Night? I'm having a tattoo designed in that tradition to cover another tattoo.
Fun thread, Apo!

I don't have a huge inventory of paintings inside my head, but this one always stood out to me. (It used to be my avatar)
"Chronos Devouring His Children" by Francisco de Goya
Not only is it somewhat disturbing, it is based on Greek mythology. Double whammy.
And even though they're not paintings per se, I have to post something by M. C. Escher. This is one of my favorites.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
