Herding cats? There are over 40,000 Christian denominations. Why don't you and your ilk take the next 2000 years and get your story straight. Oh, wait...

Essentially yes; however, I'm not trying to burden the already difficult task of getting all humanity to get along with a special nature contradicting rule book inspired by an unprovable entity with a penchant for foreskin.

Yes, indeed. Your omnipotent, omniscient, omnibenevolent god is the precisely the same as no god at all.

I read the OP... and I smile, seeing the laugh.

Then I read the responses... whoosh?

Maybe I read too much into things, connecting 'imma make a thread' and what led to it, with this. Thinking
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

I appreciate your valuable public service if this prevents even one more theist from claiming atheism too is an unjustified belief.

As you note, it is far from universally endorsed by atheists. Many really want to be a 7 on the atheist chart. They hate the idea of anyone standing on a higher wrung of this ladder than themselves. They really want to project the same swagger and make the same sort of proclamations as the worst sort of theist. Unfortunately gnosticism on either side is damning.
