Assuming everyone's straight, probably not so good. But assuming you have a cross section of everyone in there, possibly like a breath of fresh air? Imagine going around hiding something basic about yourself for team morale? It might make you wonder if you really belong on the team. Maybe that's the point?

Ok, if you also believe that men and women should mix in changing room, then atleast you're being consistent. But the fact is, there are many situations in life where it is perhaps better to conceal things about your identity or life than to reveal them. I wouldn't tell a group of Catholics that according to Islam, Catholicism leads to hellfire, what good would that do? Would I be really be surprised if they started insulting me or my faith after that? No. I wouldn't walk into a club full of lesbians and say that I want to bang one the chicks there, what's the point? I don't see it as hiding who you are, it's about contexualising that confession, having some due respect and seeing what the greater good is.

But greater good for who? We just have changing rooms for men and changing rooms for women. We don't have rooms for people who lust for pussy and another one for those who go for dick. Are you going to be a proponent of this change? (I've got other fish to fry.) Would you be more comfortable changing with lesbians since you could be sure they wouldn't be 'perving' on you? I doubt if that is going to work for them.

So long as we just have changing rooms based on the equipment you have rather than the equipment you lust for, who should those rooms belong to, gays or straights or both? Unless we want to pay for lots of changing rooms for every permutation I'm pretty sure we're going to have to go on using the ones we have. Now you have to consider why you think straight culture should predominate there. Maybe changing rooms are mostly just for changing and not so much about lusting.
