I wonder how long it'll take dunzce to start a new thread titled, "Why shouldn't we flush our babies down the toilet?" Hell I can practically write the intro myself:
Since everyone and his neighbor knows that morals aren't real, why shouldn't people do in their kids if they want to? It wouldn't be rational to oppose baby flushers. They're just doing what suits them the same as you and me. More power to them .... or maybe we need [wait for it]

She should definitely be charged with attempted murder. I mean, it's not as if you could a) accidentally flush a child down the toilet, or b) intentionally fluch a child down the toilet with the expectation that it would survive.

GOD! I thought he was Atheist though...I'm not so sure. There are many areas of the world where people can kill babies without fear of reprisals unfortunately, that's the sad part.

Clearly you don't subscribe to it, but there is a common conception that failures in verbal communication are the result of the speaker not considering how to best communicate his ideas to his target audience.
In any case, I have no intention of getting into a debate over this. I merely wanted to point out that your meaning was not as clear as you indicated you thought it was.

But why not? I'm genuinely interested how that post could've have been misunderstood in such a dramatic fashion. It's kind of a big deal, and there is no guarantee such a misunderstanding cannot occur in the future if we don't thrash out the details.
