I mean some people get cancer which is pretty severe. You aren't going to get treatment for a case of the deaths. You called my criticism of him harsh, I disagreed. I don't think it's cruel or severe. What part of that can't you compute?
I called you saying the world was better off with out him harsh. But your entitled to your opinion. Personally I value life more than to toss words like that around, but if you don't I understand where you stand now.

That is a harsh thing to say dude. Like I can see how the world is a better place without Hitler, but the world being a better place because an intelligent free thinker is dead? ummm.... no
Too funny! Here in a thread about "angry atheists," the only person rejoicing in the death of someone with an opposing viewpoint is a christian.
Oh well, the good thing is that death didn't silence Hitchens — we still have his books and videos of the debates all over the Internet, where he'll be inspiring — and producing — other freethinkers for years to come.

Muslim, actually.

Um..he actually made a career out of finding witty ways to express complaints and feelings of hostility. Any old asshole could be angry, but I don't see you or I - for example- signing books. Is the world a better place without him - sure, insomuch as the world is always a better place when ideas and people come and go - diversity and variety - but would it have been a better place having never had him? No...no more so than it would be a better place for having never had you or I- imho.

Again...people find that if you point out their lies and inconsistencies (and probably smatter in a few curse words in that jolly ol' accent of his) you must be hostile...

Especially religions, since they've spent so long with the privilege of never being questioned at all, that any disagreement must come across as hostility. I imagine it'd be like being wrapped in cotton wool all your life and being bruised for the first time.

I felt a lot more anger as a believer. People never acted right, including me.
