In UK Islam is the Future and Christianity is the Past

RE: In UK Islam is the Future and Christianity is the Past
1. if education in the western world was turning people against religion then Islam wouldn't be in the ascendancy.

2. People are almost completely ignorant of religion nowadays so education is failing badly on that score. People think it's the same subject as science!

Plus it's easier to convert people to a book which has whatever meaning you want it to have, you can always use the old "This is out of context" excuse or "This has been translated incorrectly" with the quran.
I find the quran more believable than the bible that's why I looked into it more, but when I did look into it I found myself thinking is god really relying on sending me this message via 100 different translations, interpretations, opinions and heresay that's lasted 1400 years. Muslims can't even agree on which excuses are best to use when dealing with people who question the quran.
God will not spoon feed you his religion you need to work (hard) for it, Quran is only reviled in Arabic so you cannot depend on just one translation of it (you cannot even pray in English) and ultimately (if you accept Islam) you need to learn Arabic as well
You are doing to save yourself and need to beg God to guide you to the right path, this is the correct attitude to be accepted by god.

Where I live. 40% of the population has absolutly no religious affiliation.

And that is the fastest growing group, not the pedophile worshipers and wifebeaters.

Sadly often this also means they are very susceptible for Hocus Pocus esoteric mumbo-jumbo.

Scholar, do you honestly think that single examples of people converting proves the point you've set out to prove here?

... Oh, who am I kidding? Of course you do; you have almost nonexistent standards when it comes to evidence.

No it's not:

SEE: http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/publications/r...A77-286262 (2011 Census Data).

Compare: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_Census_2001 (2001 Census, no longer avaliable online unless you request it unfortunately).

SEE ALSO: http://ir2.flife.de/data/natcen-social-r...ligion.pdf

The biggest increasing demographic of religious adherence in the UK bar none is 'no religion' or 'atheism'. Using census data alone the increase has been (roughly) 14% to 20% within 10 years. The BSAS lists their respondants as 50% affiliating with no religious beliefs or personal faiths.

I'll agree, though, that in compairson to other religions Islam and black minority Christian sects are the quickest growing religions, but pale in comparison to no religious adherence.

Just sample figures from the 2011 census:

Christians (all major sects): 33,243,175
Islam (all major sects): 2,706,066
No religion: 14,097,229

Note this is just England and Wales. The figures for Northern Ireland would leave the majority espousing Christianity with very lttle espousing a sect of Islam. I have no idea about Scotland as I've never researched into it but I'd say the figures would be broardly the same as above.

Haha nice. I actually had a few friends go there to see the remnants of Islamic civilization in those areas, they were and still are kind of backward and arrogant people, most of those areas were renovated and their accents are awful. We should have took the opportunity to occupy them during WW2 when they were sitting on their arses like pussies, nice weather over there.
