I had read the Bible for decades and never thought of this, to be perfectly frank.
Good point. Clearly the sun emits no light, God is actually the source of light in the center of the solar system, and the earth orbits God. The sun just happens to be in the same general vicinity. At least, ever since the 4th revolution of the earth around God.
