I sometimes doubt my countries sanity.

RE: I sometimes doubt my countries sanity.
So they have the same opinion as you, that hardly makes it right.

Its the same as if some religious order (not referring to any in particular, of course) decides to suggest a ruling that all non-religious/non-believers are to be screened and thoroughly checked because they do not believe in god, making them susceptible to evil ways. Would you say that is fair?

Yes..if they are guilty of doing what Muslims terrorists have done BECAUSE their non belief in a god instructs them to do so. Absolutely.

46 percent of Americans have a negative view of Muslims. Many Americans didn't even participate. Imagine what that number would be if more people participated.

A great writing. http://leftfieldperspectives.blogspot.co...slims.html

This doesn't mean that 46% of muslims are worthy of our fear y'know Tongue
Around that amount of American's also reject evolution, don't they?

So you're telling me you would happily undergo intense scrutiny and discrimination and allow your family to undergo such intense scrutiny and discrimination, probably for as long as you live in the country, just because a minority of like-minded individuals who have absolutely nothing to do with you committed a terrorist attack?

And how many of those Americans listen to American media...? Also... how many of those Americans have a negative view of Christianity and Judaism? That Americans think something... doesn't mean they are right.

If it meant preventing a terrorist attack. YES! You know that America rounded up American Germans during WW2 and each person was screened to see if they were a NAZI or had any NAZI ties. If they weren't then they were let go. Have you ever heard an American German bitch about that? I haven't. They knew it was for the national security of the country which meant it was also for their own security.

Some of you need to grow some balls and quit being so politically correct.

Well, the style is not unlike yours. It's a sandy-brown color with gray highlights. It's getting a bit shaggy but I intend to get it cut this weekend.
