The Problem of Evil. I've been addressing that one for years, from armchair philosophers to renowned scholars, and not once have I seen a formulation of it that actually works. It's compelling force is pure sophistry, a brute assertion decked out like an argument that does not stand up under scrutiny. It is nothing short of ironic that one of atheism's weakest arguments is considered by so many as its strongest argument.

Worst atheistic argument?

By "the same thing" I meant the "it is nothing short of ironic" bit. Many consider TAG to be a strong argument for Christianity, and yet it is considered by others to be deeply flawed

Also,in your reply are you stating that you don't believe in an after life of bliss in heaven?That is the problem with you Christians,10 of you can read the same text and come out with 10 different interpretations to that text.Hence,the many sects labeled under Christianity.In the end it's all a matter of personal interpretation.Yet another demonstration of your gods imperfect way to reveal himself to the world. Here is the second half of Matthew 25:34-40 Matthew 25:41-46 41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. As you can see if you don't do good deeds fr0d0 then you will suffer eternal punishment.Hypocrisy at it's best!

Hey,
Here's a fun part of the bible: Mathew 6:1-4 1"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 3But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Charity done right should be stealthy. Apparently Fr0d0 wants to Immanentize the Eschaton too. He must be a Belinda Carlisle fan: Ooh, baby, do you know what thats worth ? Ooh heaven is a place on earth They say in heaven love comes first We'll make heaven a place on earth Ooh heaven is a place on earth Rhizo
You did NOT just refer to a Belinda Carlisle song... {claws at ears}
