I don't think I want to either. It seems this place is full of keyboard cowboys that have nothing better to do but to wait and pounce on someone who posts things they don't like to hear.
I have better things to do than to justify my actions to a bunch of strangers.
No Thanks, But I did learn to keep it to myself and for that I am grateful.
Adios.

Nobody asked you to justify anything. You asked a question, and you were given an answer. If you can't take that, then I guess there's no reason to post on this site.

Justification. Something in the use of the word strikes me as ironic! Wink

Better for extremists to be out in a healthy society. Don't hide away man.

I think he is one of those people that give atheists a bad rap. Also, I find his attitude, and stories to be similar to people who called my family derogatory names.

Translation: I'm sensitive about being called out for my prejudice and bigotry, and I wish that people would just silently accept my stupidity.

Should we mention that we have a Muslim admin? Simply because this is an atheist forum, doesn't mean everyone here hates those of faith.

Many were surprised by my question and some told me it was none of my business.
Needless to say I hired the ones that told me they were Atheists. My ex-wife suggested (strongly ) that I shouldn't do that in the future and it is considered discrimination. Like I didn't already know or cared.
My reasoning is; If theists can discriminate against me and call me a godless communist with no moral values without even knowing me or what my views are, why can't I do the same thing?
Wanting to be fair and not a fascist, I like to get your intelligent input on this subject. Am I doing anything really wrong here?

Technically, ( legally) it depends. If you live in the US and employ fewer than 15 people the law does not apply to you.

Quote:Title VII of the Act, codified as Subchapter VI of Chapter 21 of title 42 of the United States Code, prohibits discrimination by covered employers on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin (see 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2[36]). Title VII applies to and covers an employer "who has fifteen (15) or more employees for each working day in each of twenty or more calendar weeks in the current or preceding calendar year" as written in the Definitions section under 42 U.S.C. §2000e(b). The Act does not apply to employers with 14 employees or less.

Courts enforce laws.

What country do you live in? In the US that's illegal and thankfully so. The law protects Atheists far more since so many businesses here are owned by Christians. Also I think it's pretty douchey.

It's stupid to confess to illegal action on the internet, which is what you did twice on this thread, OP.
