Four questions for Christians

Here btw, Consilius, (in my buddy Ronny's post) is a great example of a TQ thats spoken so timidly and softly that you might not even notice it. That people do shitty things to each other does not excuse the shitty things your faith has done - or the shitty things that your fath exalts - from being tragedies themselves. They're both "real tragedies".

See the similarity? "Others have done shitty things, so your criticism is unwarranted/unjustified/unneccessary".

Thanks, btw, Ronny.

And the difference is?

You can put your hands on, and/or do something about the current tragedy!

Not a "perceived" tragedy that no one living could possibly know about, or do anything about....except for mud-slinging ops.

Why couldn't we know about the exodus? We know enough to know that it never occurred. We can do plenty about it as well..like not acting out a repitition of it's flawed justification - or not exalting the goodness of the character we imagined to carry out the unspeakable.. I can "do things" about the "current tragedy" -while- I call you out on the ongoing and persistent tragedy of your faith.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

And pray-tell...what is the persistent tragedy of "my" faith?

That you're here tqing me to preserve the "goodness" of the exaltation of baby killing, blood sacrifice, and vicarious atonement.

Easy questions, easy answers. Your faith has clearly hobbled your mind. I'd call that a tragedy. Especially when people of similarly hobbled minds act out their compulsions arising from said hobbling(which they do).

Exodus doesn't matter much to me, or to anyone but you.

Abortion does matter to me. Especially when people like Gosnell are performing them.

But, obviously your points are more important to your bias...than say...helping babies dying today at the hands of monsters like Gosnell?

Just blame "our God"...for anything! Man has nothing to do with it! At least atheist men are innocent.

Oh, the exodus is immensely important to you, as it's inclusion means that you believe in a fairy tale god, and it's exclusion means that the basis for your worship of said fairy tale god is the stuff of dreams. You're barking up the wrong tree with regards to abortion, catholic. I'm not a fan myself (and it wouldn't matter if I were).

Try again.

The OT is over. finnito. gone!

Christianity is about the Gospel aka NT..."it is finished"...much like your argument!

Find some new material. No one will come to see you anymore!

Does Jesus not mention that one is still to remember the old laws?

Does that mean you do not follow any of the laws in the old testament?

I'm not the one who offered it up or tried to defend it Ron. Maybe it's not important to you.....but that's probably because you haven't thought such a position through. Not that any of this would matter, whether someone offered an incoherent position on some narrative in the OT or Fight Club, I will have been interested enough to bring light to that.

On the other point..... You, of anyone here, should know that my issue with your faith does not originate from the OT. When we had our little exchange, how much of the OT did I call you to task on? None, huh? So maybe, just maybe....you outta keep that sort of bullshit under control. Don't be the third person I have to call out for the same shit in a single thread.
