GodsChild a Few Quick Questions?

RE: GodsChild a Few Quick Questions?
In that case either you haven’t been paying attention, or you are just plain slow. My position has always been that the meaning of the Greek word aeonian is contextual. Its meaning is dependent on use. In the Bible it is used the same way the Hebrew used the word Olam. Both words can mean either a limited or an unlimited timeframe as well as other things. I provided references from scholars to support my position. You on the other hand have only made bare assed assertions that it means what you say it means, and the rest of the world is wrong. I’m sorry to tell you kiddo, but that just isn’t the way this shit works. You can either back up your claims, or you can continue to look stupid.

You provided circular reasoning and the sad part is that you acknowledged what you thought aeonian meant before you went off on your rotund jaunt around biblical "scholars"...

But anyways, you backed up my claim nicely, thank you.

Could you explain to me how any "period of time" equates to eternity?

Coming to a deeper understanding off who He is and why He took the actions He did gives me a deeper respect for Him. This is a part of growing in a greater relationship with God through Christ, I've become stronger since coming to this site.

Have you figured out why God decided that eternal never ending torment was a fitting penalty for not believing in Him?

I've always wondered WTF He was thinking when He did that.

Seems... excessive.

I've never had trouble with this issue, sin is an eternal action because it is against an eternal God, if the sin is not forgiven the sin will continue eternally, thus an eternal punishment. This might seem to simple but, I see no reason it should be made more difficult than this. One other thing because there is an eternal reward wouldn't justice demand a eternal punishment.

In Matthew 25:46 eternal is used for both life and punishment, so either they both are forever, or at some predetermined time God will end both, I'm hoping for everlasting, which are you wanting Catfish. The word translated for both is the same Greek word. The OP was never meant as a debate for me and I'm holding to this.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You might have a little trouble with this issue if you'd consider that "sin" just might be a fictional concept.
