Mehmet, when I visited Turkey I saw a lot of these being sold:

I even bought one that I gave to my brother's family as a gift. I was told it was the "Eye of Medusa" and was supposed to ward off the Evil Eye.

Is this true? I'm sure sure how accurate that information was.
I have one of those. When I was growing up, my Mum had a boyfriend who was half Turkish (he was Irish himself) and he got me it. I forget what he said it was for now. Now it's gonna bug me till I find out. To google!
